Western Metropolitan Region
Western Metropolitan Region is one of the eight electoral
regions in Victoria that elects five members to the Legislative Council (upper
house) of the Victorian Parliament.
"It is a sincere pleasure to serve as your newest member of state parliament in the Western Metropolitan Region. From Sunbury, to the areas around Caroline Springs, Keilor and Essendon, out to the parts around Williamstown, Point Cook, Hoppers Crossing and Werribee, this region includes a diversity people and communities I am very honoured to represent."
The region is home to a number of features and attractions.
Some of these include Melbourne Airport, Werribee Open Range Zoo, Werribee Park Mansion, the Point Cook RAAF Base, the old Fort Gellibrand site, Organ Pipes
National Park, and beaches and marinas around Port Phillip and Hobsons Bays.
